What is the European Movement?
The EUROPEAN MOVEMENT, founded in 1947, is an international organisation open to all cultural, social, economic and political trends in civil society. Its objective is to contribute to the establishment of a Europe united in its diversity and founded on the respect for basic human rights, peace principles, democratic principles of liberty and solidarity and citizens' participation.
The European Movement Malta is the one of the 41 national councils working towards bringing together representatives from European associations, political parties, young people, enterprises, trade unions and individuals to build, within their diversity, the Europe of tomorrow.
